The weather was gorgeous during our time in Boone. It was sunny, but crisp and cool. The family took alot of walks and explored our river community.
We walked down to the New River, which is a lovely stroll from the cabin. We walked across the wooden bridge that connects River Ridge 1 with River Ridge 2. We discovered to our amazement that just on the other side of the bridge is a Christmas Tree Farm.
While it is too late and we will not be here long enough to enjoy a freshly cut christmas tree this year, we will be sure to keep it in mind for future Christmases.
